Rechargeable repairs
While most repairs to your home are carried out by our contractors and paid for by us, some are your responsibility. For example, broken windows or loo seats, or damage caused accidentally by someone in your household.
To sort out these repairs, residents can call the Service Centre and, for an affordable charge, we will get them done for you.
The work will be carried out by our contractors, to a high standard and at a time that suits you. When you call the Service Centre they will give you a quote for your job but, as a guide, we will charge you:
- £20 to repair a toilet seat or replace a tap washer
- £25 to fit a spyhole
- £50 to repair a single-glazed window or replace lost keys (per lock)
- £100 to fix your front door
- £100 to help you get rid of mice (three visits)

If you decide to go ahead, we will ask you to pay in advance, either by using your debit or credit card, or by using an allpay card that we send you. We will then arrange an appointment that suits you.
