Piloting a new repair scheme in Kent
In a new pilot scheme launched 05 January 2009, residents in Kent who want to report a repair will now log their details directly with MHS Homes.
We are working with this contractor to test the new approach in the hope that it will be easier and more efficient for residents to report their repair issues. See a copy of a flyer about the pilot scheme.
Under the scheme, residents call 08456 581 653 or 01634 354 026 (calls to the second number may be cheaper). Lines are open from 7:30am to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday.
For all other enquiries, residents should continue to call the Service Centre, and for out-of-hours emergencies they should continue to call the relevant emergency numbers provided. All residents in the Kent area have been informed of the changes.
Feedback from residents will be used to measure satisfaction levels with the service. If the trial is deemed a success, we could roll this system out with other contractors in the future.
