Working Opportunities Fund
The Working Opportunities Fund offers grants of up to £500 to residents looking for support into employment. This may be for those who need financial help in securing work or making the transition into employment more sustainable.
Examples of how funding may be used include:
- Buying clothing for interviews.
- Buying work tools.
- Covering the first month of travel costs.
- Contributing to childcare costs.
- Registering with accredited professional bodies.
We consider each application on an individual basis and applicants are expected to make a contribution to the costs themselves.
