Welcome to SERD’s new Online Resource for resident volunteers and community groups. This site is intended to help volunteers and community groups to access information, guidance and support to enable you to play full and active roles in your communities.
Southern Housing Group is committed to supporting and promoting resident involvement in the social, economic and environmental projects and services of the Group such as the Volunteers Programme, but to also empower residents to play leading roles in neighbourhoods where they live by organising events and setting up community groups so that projects can be delivered by the community for the community.
The information on this site is designed to be useful and informative and to provide instant access to information and relevant external links. It is also produced in easily digestible format with user-friendly language with as little jargon where this is possible.
Information on this site will be constantly updated and developed to meet the changing needs of our client group and to promote our new services and projects. We would also welcome your feedback to ensure that we are on the right track!
